Ron Choquette, Class A PGA Professional and Director of Golf at Burden Lake, brings 21 years of teaching experience to the Capital District. Ron is well known for his adult and junior clinics. These along with individual lessons provide for a true PGA teaching experience.

PRO SHOP NEWS
Our shop offers items from Nike, Taylor Made, Ping, Titleist, Callaway and Adidas among others. Brian welcomes any suggestions or ideas for new merchandise or improvement in the Pro Shop. |
| Burden Lake utilizes the GHIN Handicap System.Please check with the Pro Shop for appropriate fees. It's important for players to enter their adjusted scores into the system to ensure proper handicaps for tournaments and outings. The Pro Shop staff will kindly assist with any questions. |
Driving Range & Instruction
Burden Lake offers a grass tee driving range for range practice and instruction. 2007 saw some nice enhancements to the driving range. New bag stands and range balls were purchased, along with he installation of a water cooler, bench and garbage stand. Check with the Pro Shop for rates on instruction for both individuals or group lessons.
Group Lessons can also be arranged by calling the Pro Shop at 674-1770.

Ron Choquette Receives PGA Award

BLCC Junior Golf Clinic
The Burden Lake Country Club Junior Clinic will be tentatively held this season between July 8th and August 14th. Boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 14 may participate. Sessions are held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 am to 11:00 am. There is 90 minutes of lesson followed by a team scramble each day. Contact the Pro Shop for more details.
