• Sat, Nov 22 -- Turkey Shoot
  As many of you may have guessed due to the weather forecast (high of 33) for Saturday we will not be having the 11am scramble that was scheduled to be held before the Thanksgiving Buffet. The dinner however WILL STILL BE HELD AT 3PM. We ask only that you notify us by calling the shop if you plan on attending the dinner. Please remember that we ask you to bring a covered dish or dessert item for the buffet. Thanks and we hope to see you all on Saturday. -Brian

• Sat, Dec 13 -- Holiday Party
  We will be offering a variety of complimentary appetizers from 3 pm and 7 pm. We will be serving dinner from our menu plus other specials from 4 pm to 9 pm.

• Wed, Dec 31 -- News Years Eve
  We will start the evening with appetizers at 6:00 pm. A very special buffet will follow including Caesar Salad, a Holiday Cranberry and Nut Salad, Homemade Bread, Chicken Marsala, Veal Cordon Bleu, Broiled Salmon and Haddock, Seafood Gardinera, Stuffed Potatoes and Prime Rib. Dinner will include a Champagne Toast. Desert table with Coffee following dinner.

  The whole night is a party with DJ Willie Moak and 2 large TV screens to watch the ball drop in Times Square. Make your reservations early.

Burden Lake Country Club also operates their full service Restaurant and bar offering a wide array of food and beverages year round. Tom Choquette, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, brings 20 + years of head chef experience to Burden Lake Country Club. We can accommodate weddings, bridal showers, golf outings and private parties. Call or stop by for information.

The Early Bird Dinners are back for the winter months. Starting 11/13 we will be serving "Early Bird Dinners" on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 to 7 pm, Saturdays 4 to 6 pm and Sundays 3 to 6pm.

The dinners will include an Entree plus one side dish with Homemade Bread. The cost is just $7.95. Soup and Salad are only $2 additional.

The entrees to choose from are Liver and Onions, Chicken Parmesan, Sausage and Peppers, Pasta Gardinera, Broiled Haddock, Seafood Diablo, aRoast Pork Loin and Chicken Stir Fry.

November Restaurant News

The Restaurant at Burden Lake Country Club is open all year round. We will be serving dinner Thursday through Sunday from 4 pm until 9 pm.

Ribeye steaks, cut to order, as well as a variety of Seafood, Chicken and other specialty entrees.

BLCC Invitational - The Hutch

Congratulations to the team of James Welch and Dave Pallas on winning the inaugural Burden Lake Country Club Invitational - The "Hutch". Runner ups were Burden Lake's own Tom Choquette and his playing partner Tom Mullen.

In the first flight, the team of John Keeler and Mark Quinn defeated the team of Mike Botillo and Paul Nero to take home the 1st flight crown. The team of Bill Haupt and Joe Bradley captured the 2nd flight. Thanks to all who participated and we look forward to having the 2nd annual tournament next year.

October Green Day Specials

We are happy to announce our October 2008 "Green Days" golf special. The special includes 18 holes of Golf with Cart for only $30 per person. "Green Day" Specials will be offered from 8 am till noon on the designated days. Tee times are required and will be available starting 48 hours in advance.
