Burden Lake Country Club is a championship 18 hole, par 71 golf course located in Averill Park, NY (10 miles from Troy and 15 miles from Albany). Built in the 1920"s as part of the famous Totem Lodge Resort the course operates as a semi-private country club. We have a grass tee driving range for practice and golf instruction from our PGA staff. Our pro shop offers the latest equipment and apparel from Callaway, Ping, Taylor Made, Adidas, NIKE, and Izod. Public play is welcome, so please call ahead (518-674-1770) for a tee time.
We are open in the winter for cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Our clubhouse with its bar and restaurant, called Jack Kelly's Tavern by the Green Restaurant, is open year round for dining and socializing. Tom Choquette, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, brings 20 + years of head chef experience to Burden Lake Country Club. We can accommodate weddings, bridal showers, golf outings and private parties. Call or stop by for information. |

Green Days Specials August
"Green Days" specials are posted for August. The days for August will be 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 31st. The special includes 18 holes of Golf with Cart and Lunch for only $35 per person. Check out the calendar on the Green Days page. for applicable dates. BLCC Stroke Play Championship Results Here are the results from the Stroke Play Championship which was held over the weekend. Congrats to all the Flight winners and thanks to all of you who braved the heat, long rounds, and took time from your Holiday schedules to participate.
ESPN Qualifier Results As many of you know we held the annual ESPN National Golf Challenge on Sunday, May 23rd. The ESPN Event is always exciting and we had close finishes in all of the divisions. The winners of the Gross, Net, and Sr Divisions have won the right to advance to the regionals with a chance to qualify for the National Finals in Las Vegas this October!
